Rapper OMB Peezy Arrested In Connection To Roddy Ricch And 42

Roommates, new information has become available about the shooting that occurred in Atlanta a few weeks ago on February 21st at Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg’s music video shoot. The shooting left 3 people injured with non-life-threatening injuries. Neither Roddy Ricch nor 42 Dugg were injured. According to the AJC, Alabama bred rapper OMB Peezy, who is signed to E40’s Sic Wid It Records, and 300 Entertainment, was arrested on Monday connected to the shooting. Peezy who’s real name is LeParis Dade, was charged by the Atlanta Police Department on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm.

Peezy is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail on a $60,000 bond. Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, Tracy Flanagan, said that for Peezy to post bond the “Big Homie” rapper must first agree to be fitted with an ankle monitor and surrender his passport.

As of right now, Dugg and Roddy haven’t spoken out about the incident. As we previously reported shortly after the incident, Dugg broke his silence on Instagram, writing, “Appreciate the concern. although I did not get SHOT!!!!” Roddy also addressed fans by tweeting, “Ain’t nobody shoot at me. We all good. I’m just tryna feed the streets.” The news about Peezy’s involvement seemed to cause a mixed reaction on social media. However, his loyal fans continue to support him. Many of them have started yelling “Free Him” on Instagram.

While Peezy is still behind bars, his social media pages have been active. Outside of promoting his project that is out now, “Too Deep For Tears (TDFT), there have been several posts he has shared with fans showing him major support on the gram. There was even a message that was shared claiming his innocence. He wrote, “I’m innocent, be home soon. Love yall.”

Roommates, as always, we will keep yall posted as more information becomes available.
